Workforce Development Board (WDB) is pleased to announce that Eleni Gagovski joined the team as Business Support and Project Coordinator on Monday, April 13th.
As Business Support and Project Coordinator, Eleni will support WDB’s business operations and build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders. She is also responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of key project activities and will collaborate to monitor projects to ensure that objectives and deliverables are met and to promote WDB’s resources to community partners.
“Eleni’s background in economic development and project management has given her extensive experience in overseeing the delivery of successful local initiatives and building relationships with community partners,” said CEO Jennifer Lamantia. “We’re excited to welcome Eleni to the team and look forward to seeing her apply her knowledge and skills to WDB.”

Because of this, I am extremely excited to join the team and can’t wait to contribute to the important work that they continue to do,” said Eleni Gagovski.
Eleni brings over three years of economic development experience at a municipal level and over ten years of project management experience in both private and public sectors. In her previous role as Economic Development Officer at Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development, Eleni was successful in overseeing the completion of two Skills Development Fund projects: Build and Soar and Pathways to Prosperity. Eleni also led three successful Manufacturing Doors Open events that included WDB and partners from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic District School Board and several local manufacturers: Quickmill Inc., Merit Precision, Kawartha Metals Corp, Circul-Air-Corp, Central Smith, BWXT and Charlotte Products Ltd.
Eleni is a graduate of the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration and holds a Business Administration Diploma with a Major in Marketing from Humber College. She recently completed Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) Economic Development Certification – Years 1 & 2 at the University of Waterloo.
