DGI Properties is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Office Assistant to support daily administrative and accounting functions at our Peterborough office. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent time management, and a willingness to learn. We will consider full time or part time applicants, provided availability falls within our office hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of file management, including opening, organizing, scanning, uploading, and closing files.
Complete document shredding and maintain secure handling of confidential information.
Assist with accounting data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Support daily office operations, including email correspondence and document preparation.
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
Provide general administrative support to the property management team as needed.
Perform all aspects of file management, including opening, organizing, scanning, uploading, and closing files.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Board forms is an asset.
Experience with SAGE Simply Accounting is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail, especially for accounting data entry.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
