Wage: $18.75 to start, $19.23 after 90 day probation
Hours: 20 hours per week based on availability (Day, Evening, nights and Weekend Availability)

Description:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, to be responsible for security, and counselling, communications and documenting while promoting the following: ensures client and building safety, assists with activities of daily living and encourages full participation in community activities. Work closely with residential staff and community resources as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To supervise the residents’ legal conditions of release and liaise with the National Monitoring Center, local CSC Parole Office and Peterborough Police Services in this regard.
- To assist in the individual case plan for all residents in cooperation with casework staff.
- To assist in preparing residents for transfer to the open community
- To maintain the general log, communication log, apartment log and resident meeting log communicating concerns, messages to other staff
Qualifications:
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Counsel offenders, form effective relationships and gain trust
- Support successful reintegration into the community
- Ability to intervene and deescalate crisis situations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse clint group
- Proficient in the following computer applications: Microsoft Word. OMS training may be provided upon availability
