Job Description:
Entomo Farms is the world leader in insect farming for human consumption. We are looking for a motivated individual who is able to work well independently and with small groups of people in our processing facility. Our ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable and meticulous with their daily tasks. We are currently seeking an employee to work on our DAY shift, with the flexibility to work AFTERNOON shifts on a rotating basis.
Position Summary:
Daily duties may include the following, depending on the production requirements of the day:
• Washing and traying product
• Loading and unloading trays of product
• Taking temperatures and moisture levels of the cooked product to ensure it meets CCP criteria
• Grinding and packaging of cooked product
• Sanitation and clean-up of tools and work area during and after processing is finished
• Packing product for customers
• Any additional tasks as required by Production Manager including general building sanitation, indoor and outdoor maintenance, etc.
Position Responsibilities:
• Ability to respond to occasional non-standard situations
• Correctly complete paperwork
• Work in an efficient manner to complete the daily work in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow stringent cleaning and sanitation SOP's
• Adhere to HAACP guidelines and GMP's, following all standard operating procedures precisely to ensure the production of safe product
