Special Diet Cook - Allergy and Dietary Lead (Posted by EPC)
Wage: $140 - $170 per day, paid bi-weekly. Potential completion bonus: 1 extra week of pay after season contract completion (10+ weeks)

Location: Muskoka
6 days on, 1 day off. Room, board, and food included.
Description: As the special diet cook you are responsible for allergy-safe and religious meals in accordance to diet restrictions. Work with clear systems, labels, and allergy protocols so meals are both safe and awesome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare allergy-safe and special diet meals (GF, DF, vegetarian, vegan, halal, etc.)
- Run a dedicated dietary station with strict tools, labels, and storage
- Prevent cross-contact every time (separate equipment, clean workflow, clear rules)
- Label meals clearly and coordinate hand-off with the service team. Keep your station clean, organized, and calm under pressure. Follow the written allergy protocol
- Support regular kitchen prep when time permits
Qualifications:
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Kitchen experience or culinary student
- Strong food safety habits with high degree of attention to detail
- Experience with special diets and allergen control is a strong asset
- Communication, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Food Handler Certificate and First Aid as asset
