WDB joined with five other local workforce planning boards in Eastern Ontario to conduct the Worker Impact Survey (WIS). The survey ran from March 15th to April 30th and allowed individuals to share information about their employment challenges.
With the support of the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, the Worker Impact Survey results provide a better understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on the workforce and will increase awareness of the local labour supply, employment barriers for job seekers and those not participating in the labour force, and reasons for labour force under-utilization.
A summary of the Worker Impact Survey results for the WDB catchment area can be viewed here.
The Worker Impact Survey Project Report can be found here.
