The Eastern Workforce Innovation Board (EWIB) and Eastern Ontario Training Board (EOTB) with be joining WDB and CFWD in an expansion of the career pathways project that includes the development, implementation and delivery of an Edge Factor Community Hub for their respective regions. The four workforce planning boards will work closely with Edge Factor to support the production and completion of local video content for key industries that are included in the Virtual Workplace Experiences feature within the Edge Factor platform.

This project empowers communities, inspires students, and builds relationships between local companies, schools, and families by creating digital Community Hubs with a wide range of local labour market information and featuring key industries and in-demand occupations in the region. The Edge Factor Platform connects and educates students, parents, guidance counsellors, and teachers about what local industries are important and provides the most up-to-date insights on job outlook and growth.
