The Workforce Development Board (WDB) welcomes Ashley McDonald to the team on Monday, October 21st.
“We are very pleased to have Ashley join us,” said CEO Jennifer Lamantia. “As our Business Support Specialist, Ashley will be responsible for supporting key areas of our business including maintaining relationships with our community partners, obtaining customer service feedback for our LMI Helpdesk, and supporting the Local Employment Planning Council pilot project activities and the daily operations of WDB.”
“I look forward to joining the Workforce Development Board team and to applying my broad skillset to these challenges, and any new challenges, that the role of Business Support Specialist will bring,” says Ashley.
Ashley brings over 10 years of experience managing a client base of over 150 where she gained excellent organizational and customer service skills. She is also very adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment from her years in marketing and as a chef in a busy downtown Toronto restaurant. She is a graduate from Dalhousie University.
Ashley and her family moved to Peterborough about a year ago and she is very interested to work with all of our community networks.
