The Workforce Development Board (WDB) welcomes Sean Dooley to the team on Monday, May 13th.
“We are very excited to welcome Sean to our team at WDB,” says CEO Jennifer Lamantia. “He brings sound experience analyzing labour market information and as a former entrepreneur, he appreciates the importance of small business in our region.”
As Labour Market Information Analyst, Sean will be leading two of our current projects: one that analyzes the supply in our local labour market and a second that surveys employers to determine existing gaps in our supply.
“I am excited to join the team at the WDB,” says Sean. “I look forward to contributing to the many projects aimed at supporting local businesses and workers.”
Sean is a recent graduate from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s in Economics. He is adept at data management and statistical analysis including using data from Statistics Canada. For the past few years Sean has owned and operated his own business in Simcoe County, which he began while studying at Queen’s and then full-time upon graduation.
