The Workforce Development Board (WDB) welcomes Ashley Fearnall to the team on Thursday, January 3rd.
Ashley assumed the role of Business Support Specialist.
“We are thrilled to have Ashley on board,” says CEO Jennifer Lamantia. “She has exceptional communication and organizational skills that will help to support our project and operations activities.”
Ashley brings excellent time management and stakeholder relations skills from her previous experience in student affairs and political offices. She is a graduate from Trent University where she was on the Dean’s Honour Roll for four years and the President’s Honour Roll in her final year.
“I’m delighted to join the WDB in their important work for this region,” says Ashley. “The services the WDB provides are forward looking and continue to support businesses and individuals in the labour market alike. I’m excited by the opportunity to contribute to this valuable organization and its mission.”
Ashley lives in Northumberland County and is already familiar with the work we do at WDB as a member of our community networks.
The Workforce Development Board is a not-for-profit organization serving Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton. Founded in 1996, the WDB is funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to provide labour market information, coordinate employment and training services and engage employer communities.
