A new guide details mentorship opportunities in Peterborough, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton.

Released by the Workforce Development Board / Local Employment Planning Council (WDB / LEPC), a non-profit organization funded by the federal and provincial governments, the publication includes listings on more than 100 organizations and programs in those communities.

A featured listings section focuses on programs geared towards entrepreneurship, employment and skill development – including stories on the Innovation Cluster, Venture13 and the Aspire program – in addition to a broader section of community mentorship programs as well as local business and trade organizations.

The guide, titled Leading the Way, also includes a number of tips for those looking to establish a mentorship program in a workplace.
