Contest rules for community labour market survey

Those that take part in a SURVEY conducted by the Workforce Development Board and submit their email address will be eligible to win a $100 Visa prepaid card (one prize), a $50 Visa prepaid card (two prizes) or a $25 Visa prepaid card (four prizes).

One entry per email address.

The decisions of the Workforce Development Board with respect to all aspects of this contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of entries and/or entrants.

By participating in this contest, the entrant is agreeing to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these rules.

The Workforce Development Board is not responsible for entries not received for whatever reason.

ANYONE DETERMINED TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES FOR ANY REASON IS SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION IN THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD AT ANY TIME.

Eligibility:

The contest is open to any person aged 18 or older in the communities of Peterborough (City and County residents), City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton.

Alternate way of entering:

Anyone wishing to enter the contest, who does not wish to complete the survey may send an email to showard@wdb.ca and note in the Subject Line: CONTEST ENTRY. The email must include: First and last name, telephone and email address. These entries will be included in the random prize draw.

Selection of winners and prizes:

One winner will be randomly selected to receive a $100 Visa prepaid card.

Two winners will be randomly selected to receive a $50 Visa prepaid card.

Four winners will be randomly selected to receive a $25 Visa prepaid card.

Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferrable.

Prizes are subject to availability at the time winners ‎are being provided with prizes and prizes may be substituted at the sole discretion of the Workforce Development Board.

Contest closes on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 9pm EST.

Winners will be notified by email on Monday, January 22, 2018.

If the prize(s) are not claimed by the announced winner(s) by February 1, then the Workforce Development Board may select another winner(s) randomly, and at its sole discretion.

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

Odds of winning depend on number of entrants.
