Under the LEPC Pilot Project, WDB has worked to strengthen and broaden partnerships to identify local priorities, as well as challenges and opportunities with respect to workforce development planning.

WDB Secretariat (Board of Directors) – provides support for the following areas:

  • Administration (organizing and facilitating meeting, events, etc.)
  • Labour Market Information collection, analysis & dissemination to local community stakeholders
  • Stakeholder liaison, engagement and partnership building

Central Planning Table – which is the primary consultative body composed of key community representatives (such as service providers, employer groups, different levels of government) that provides oversight to subject matter working groups and works collaboratively with the community stakeholders to make recommendations to the Secretariat.
